Twitch Twitch Gameplan
Twitch Gameplan is an online certification that helps brands, agencies and media owners get up to speed on how best to advertise on the platform.
We worked alongside the Twitch, Amazon and partner agency teams to sculpt and deliver a live experience that ran across a single day over two different markets (APAC and EMEA).
The initial ask in the process was to help start building some hype across social media for the live portion of the event. The brief was a joy to work on – the Twitch brand oozes personality and internet appeal. We utilised every aspect of this to create a short and snappy that told everyone where to be and what to expect. We worked with some of the industry’s finest animators and sound designers to create a truly unique piece of animation work.
We delivered this over multiple time lengths so that we could fulfil a complete social strategy. The sizzle was also resized by our in-house post team so that it could fit like a glove across all of the key social platforms.
The live event featured two of the most prominent streamers on the platform; Pokimane and Mike Shinoda. Our directing team worked closely with them both to hold an in-depth interview about all things audience, authenticity and voice. These interviews were then cut together with bespoke on-screen animations to help level them up, as Twitch does with all of its content.
We worked directly with senior stakeholders from Twitch across different global regions. This was a combination of remote shoots and in-person work.
The key skill here is to maintain a level of quality and consistency in the work. We pride ourselves on our global talent pool and this is where it came into effect.
The importance of looking after these relationships cannot be understated. These are the people that know the most about the Twitch product and their insights are unmatched. This was as much a personal relationship job as a production task.
