Greenpeace There’s a Rang-tan in Our Classroom
The astronomically successful Rang-tan video, that brought the devastating effect of palm oil to the world, warranted a follow-up and we were lucky enough to be handed the reins.
We spoke with those most affected by this issue, our future generations. Schoolchildren across the country shared with us their support for Greenpeace’s mission and how the original ad has left its mark on them.
The piece culminated in the pupils from the participating 8 primary schools coming together to recite a poem to the watching world.
The key to a great campaign is longevity. This was the first piece of communication that came out after the original Rang-tan advert. That meant that it needed to follow a similar tone but also move the campaign forward to new areas of exploration.
Never work with kids or animals. Why not? There is an art form to directing and bringing out the best in the talent. Some people struggle to work with one child, we worked with over 300.
